The Scottish Rite Library & Museum is a Neo-Classical Revival structure designed by Hubbell and Greene Architects of Dallas in 1907. Architectural development from the greatest of the Egyptian Kings to Colonial America is represented in this National Historic Landmark located in the heart of downtown Dallas.
All areas of our Museum contain artifacts from another age, transporting your guests to a time of graceful elegance, detailed craftsmanship, and functional beauty.

Welcome your guests with a grand entrance to the elegant Main Foyer, featuring gleaming marble floors and columns. Two wide staircases ascend from the lobby for ample access to the Auditorium. The foyer can be used for cocktail hour location, a gathering area for the bridal party prior to their grand entrance and also provides a beautiful location for your sign in book and photos.

The Groom and his Groomsmen gather on the first floor in our Heritage Lounge. The ultimate "man cave" complete with TV, billiard tables, cooler and bar area, and game tables. The men are "out of sight" but "on site" for uncomplicated access
Lavishly ornate and spacious, our Louis XIV ballroom can host a ceremony and reception; or, just a reception.
Buffet or plated dining options allow brides and grooms to customize their envisioned atmosphere - from nightclub to country club ...or something in between.
In a setting original to the building, our Library is a modified Gothic "Old World" styled room.
Our spectacular Auditorium is surrounded by hand-painted decor in ancient style.
